Frequently Asked Questions About Vehicle Wraps in Warrington
What is a Vehicle Wrap?
A vehicle wrap is the process of covering a vehicle, whether its for personal or commercial use. If a vehicle is wrapped for commercial purposes it is usually to utilise the vehicle for advertising purposes.
How Do I Care for my Vehicle Wrap?
We highly recommend you hand wash your vehicle with a non-abrasive sponge, soap and water. It is best to avoid automatic car washes that use brushes and high pressure washers that spray at sharp angles as these could cause the vinyl to tear or peel. Rinse your vehicle with clear water after washing, minimise water spotting by using a silicone sponge or a chamois to remove water and dry with a clean microfibre cloth.
Can I Choose the Design of the Wrap?
Of course! Our specialist designers work with clients throughout the wrapping process. If a client has a design in mind we are more than happy to work with them to create the perfect design. However, we are more than happy to work with a few ideas or concepts.
Custom vehicle wraps are one of the most powerful ways you can have to advertise your company and the perfect way to create brand recognition and increase the sales of your products and services.
How Long Does A Vehicle Wrap Last?
A well cared for vinyl can easily last up to 7 years, we’ve seen some last a lot longer! We usually give a lifespan of 5 to 7 years for our colour change films and 5 years for our digitally printed wraps. Wraps are just like paint, if you take care of them they will last. If you don’t take care of them, just like paint you will find their lifespan decreases.
The lifespan of your vinyl is also heavily dependent on where you live, how you use it, and what vinyl you’re using. Any kind of matte colour vinyl has a slightly shorter lifespan since it doesn’t have a clear over the top, protecting the film. Printed wraps, and gloss colours have a clear laminate over the top which offers better protection. If you live in a place where there are extreme temperatures, lots of dirt and debris on the road, or any kind other condition, lifespan is also slightly decreased, if you don’t care for your wrap.
